Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, QAD has been working to ensure that the rights of doulas and birth attendants are respected.

Several actions have been taken by the association and we maintain that doulas have their place in the Quebec health system during a health crisis.

Here is a downloadable list of tools that were created during the first wave in the spring of 2020. At that time, the association was still called AQAN and our communications were not yet gender inclusive, but we still feel that these are useful tools and information for our community.

If you have any questions about doula practices in the context of the pandemic we invite you to contact us. You can also find a lot of relevant and up-to-date information at: www.accoucherenpandemie.ca
